"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Hutan Kota Patriot Bina Bangsa dan Taman Kota Bekasi yaitu tidak adanya data komunitas pohon dan serapan karbon serta estimasi kebutuhan pohon untuk menyerap karbondioksida kendaraan bermotor. Penelitian ini dilakukan di bulan Januari--Mei 2021. Pengambilan sampel pohon menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan petak bujur sangkar ukuran 20x20 meter. Pengambilan sampel kendaraan bermotor menggunakan metode survey dan dilakukan di Jalan Ir. H. Juanda selama dua minggu. Hubungan antara niai penting pohon dan serapan karbon ditentukan menggunakan analisis regresi linear dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat antara nilai penting pohon dan serapan karbon di Hutan Kota Patriot Bina Bangsa dan sedang di Taman Kota Bekasi. Estimasi kebutuhan pohon yang dipenuhi yaitu sebesar 3.093 pohon dengan rata-rata diameter setinggi dada 0,31 m.

This research was conducted to answer the problems faced by the Patriot Bina Bangsa Urban Forest and Bekasi City Park, namely the absence of tree community data and carbon sequestration and the estimation of tree needs to absorb carbon dioxide from motor vehicles. This research was conducted in January-May 2021. Sampling of trees using purposive sampling method with a square plot measuring 20x20 meters. Sampling of motorized vehicles using the survey method and conducted on Jalan Ir. H. Juanda for two weeks. The relationship between tree importance value and carbon sequestration was determined using linear regression analysis with a 95% confidence level. The results of this study indicate a very strong relationship between the importance value of trees and carbon sequestration in the Patriot Bina Bangsa City Forest and medium in Bekasi City Park. Estimated tree needs that are met are 3093 trees with an average diameter of 0.31 m at breast height."

"Agarwood producing plant (Aquilaria microcarpa Baill.) is one of the Non Timber Forest Products (NTFP) that high value. However, its population had strongly decreased due to overexploitation. The objective of this study was to know the population of A. microcarpa. This study was conducted from October-December 2010. This research used sampling technique by mean of making quadrate transect were laid by systematic. Result of this study were as follows; there were poles and sapling stage at Hutan Kota Gunung Kembang (HKGK) and tree, poles and sapling stage at HKGK. Poles stage of A. microcarpa at HKGK was important value index (IVI) 16,18% and sapling stage IVI 20,58%. However, tree stages of A. microcarpa at Hutan Karet was 102,75%; pole stage 20,05% and sapling stage 8,85% respectively. A positive correlation was found between DBH and height. Pole density was 35 trees/ha and sapling stage was 320 trees/ha at HKGK. Tree was 67 trees/ha; pole 17 trees/ha, and sapling 67 trees/ha at Hutan Karet. The population density of A. microcarpa at HKGK more higher than Hutan Karet."

"he study on the community structure of bamboo was done at sub district
Srumbung Magelang Central Java Province. This study has been held on October
2010. Fourty plots have been made at sub district Srumbung. The research was done
by using purposive sampling technique. From this study, it is shown that were 51
species of bamboo and non bamboo. There are 10 species of bamboo found in these
plots. The highest frequency of bamboo Gigantochloa apus (0,5). The highest
density is also Gigantochloa apus (2567,5 culm/ha) but Dendrocalamus asper (137,5
clump/ha). The highest density based on clump/ha is Gigantochloa apus (0,320
culm/ha) and Dendrocalamus asper (0,222 clump/ha). When the important value was
calculated for clump/ha. The highest dominance is Gigantochloa apus (0,019
culm/ha), and Dendrocalamus asper (0,016 clump/ha). When the dominancy was
calculated based on clump/ha. The diversity index showed a low diversity when
calculated for culm/ha. The dispersal of bamboo culm and clump is colony and
aggregate. The highest culm diameter is Dendrocalamus asper. The highest clump
diameter is Gigantochloa atter."

"Biosintesis nanopartikel perak dengan memanfaatkan tumbuhan tropis untuk sintesis nanomaterial yang ramah lingkungan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan. Tumbuhan diketahui memiliki kemampuan untuk mereduksi ion perak menjadi partikel perak berukuran < 100 nm. Nanopartikel perak memiliki potensi untuk diaplikasikan sebagai indikator untuk mendeteksi keberadaan logam berat. Selama ini, deteksi dan pengukuran logam berat yang mencemari lingkungan membutuhkan waktu, serta peralatan dan biaya analisis yang tidak murah. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan 8 jenis tumbuhan, terutama yang terdapat di daerah tropis, sebagai agen biosintesis untuk memperoleh nanopartikel perak. Kedelapan tumbuhan tersebut ialah Azadiracta indica A. Juss (Mimba), Centella asiatica (L.) Urban (pegagan), Cerbera manghas L. (Bintaro), Dillenia indica L. (Dillenia), Diospyros blancoi A. DC. (Bisbul), Murraya paniculata (L.) Jack (Kemuning), Pometia pinnata J. R.Forst & G. Forst (Matoa), dan Phalleria macrocarpa (Scheff.) Boerl. (Mahkota dewa). Dilakukan beberapa variasi proses berupa penggunaan air ebusan dari daun segar dan juga kering, rasio volume air rebusan daun dengan AgNO3. Karakterisasi hasil biosintesis dilakukan dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Pengujian senyawa metabolit sekunder secara kualitatif juga dilakukan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan kelompok senyawa alkaloid, fenol, saponin, terpenoid, dan flavanoid pada tumbuhan yang digunakan. Analisis spektrum UV-Vis dari hasil biosintesis diperoleh 7 jenis tumbuhan menunjukkan diperoleh spektrum UV-Vis dikisaran 400-450 nm yang merupakan spektrum UV-Vis dari nanopartikel perak. Selanjutnya, nanopartikel perak hasil biosintesis menggunakan air rebusan daun Diospyros blancoi (Bisbul) dimodifikasi dengan ligan polivinil alkohol (PVA) dan L-sisteina menjadi larutan indikator. Waktu pencampuran dan konsentrasi ligan dengan nanopartikel perak divariasikan. Larutan indikator tersebut diujikan terhadap larutan ion-ion logam Cu2+, Hg2+, Pb2+, Mn2+, dan Zn2+ pada beberapa konsentrasi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan pengujian indikator tertentu menghasilkan perubahan warna pada deteksi Cu2+, Zn2+, dan Hg2+ pada kadar 1000 ppm. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan sensitifitas dan selektifitas dari larutan indikator terhadap keberadaan ketiga ion logam tersebut.

Tropical plants have high potential for environmentally friendly silver nanoparticle synthesis for many application in nanotechnology. Plants are known to have the ability for silver ion reduction resulting in silver particles sizes < 100 nm. These days, the detection and measurement of heavy metals pollution in an environment requires time, costly equipment, and labored process. This studies tried to obtain silver nanoparticles derived from biological method synthesis using tropical plants and application of the silver nanoparticles as colorimetric indicator. In this study, eight species of plants, mainly located in the tropical region, were used as biosynthetic agents to obtain silver nanoparticles. Theese plants including Azadirachta indica A. Juss (Neem), Centella asiatica (L.) Urban (Pennywort), Cerbera manghas L. (Sea mango), Dillenia indica L. (Elephant apple), Diospyros blancoi A. DC. (Velvet apple), Murraya paniculata (L.) Jack (Orange jasmine), Pometia pinnata J. R. Forst & G. Forst (Matoa), and Phalleria macrocarpa (Scheff.) Boerl. (the God's crown). The biosynthesis process of silver nanoparticles were conducted by boiling the fresh or dried leaves, then reacted with certain volume ratio of AgNO3. Silver nanoparticles were confirmed and characterized from the UV-Vis spectral result. The presence of plant's secondary metabolites gourps such as alkaloids, phenols, saponins, terpenoids, and flavonoids were also tested from the leaves. UV-Vis spectral analysis showed that silver nanoparticles are formed in seven plant species. Further more, silver nanoparticles obtained from biosynthesis using Diospyros blancoi (Velvet apple) leaves broth was modified into indicator solution. The indicator was made by adding ligand polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and also L-cysteine with silver nanoparticles. The indicator used to detect the presence of Cu2+, Hg2+, Pb2+, Mn2+, dan Zn2+ kations. The testing result of certain modified indicator indicate sensitivity and selectivity to the presence of Cu2 +, Zn2 + and Hg2+ metal ions at 1000 ppm."

"ABSTRAK
Ficus yang dioecious memiliki dua individu seks yang sangat sulit dibedakan
melalui ciri-ciri eksternal, kecuali saat Ficus berbunga atau berbuah Sebuah studi
mengenai morfologi bunga Ficus yang dioecious di Universitas Indonesia (UI),
Depok telah dilakukan dari bulan Maret 2012 sampai April 2012. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui morfologi bunga dari 4 (empat) spesies Ficus yang
dioecious di ruang terbuka hijau kampus UI. Penelitian ini juga memeriksa
hubungan di antara karakter-karakter kuantitatif dari bunga. Sebanyak total 8
(delapan) pohon, 8 (delapan) sikonia dan sekitar 750 bunga telah dipilih untuk
menjadi sampel. Setiap bunga diukur dengan mikrometer okuler untuk karakter
kuantitatif bunga, dan pada saat bersamaan morfologi bunga dari setiap spesies
dibandingkan. Kunci karakter reproduktif dalam mengidentifikasi 4 (empat)
spesies Ficus yang dioecious di kampus UI adalah jumlah stamen, bentuk stilus
dan stigma, serta bentuk perhiasan bunga (tepal) dari bunga bersari dan bunga
berputik. Berdasarkan koefisien korelasi Pearson dan koefisien variasi (KV),
hubungan di antara ciri-ciri bunga di keempat spesies menunjukkan bahwa
panjang pedisel terlihat merespon terhadap perubahan di dalam semua ciri-ciri
bunga, terutama pada stilus dan leher sehingga seluruh bunga mencapai
ketinggian yang sama. Karakter-karakter yang lain memiliki KV yang rendah,
menunjukkan karakter-karakter tersebut tidak bervariasi di dalam sikonium dan
kurang berkontribusi di dalam pertumbuhan yang seimbang.

Abstract
In functionally dioecious fig species, it is quite difficult to distinguish individuals
of the two sexes from external characteristics, except when they are in flower or
fruit. A study on flower?s morphology of dioecious figs of the Universitas
Indonesia (UI), Depok has been done from March 2012 until April 2012. The
objective of this study was to know the flower?s morphology of four dioecious
figs Ficus hispida, F. septica, F. hirta and F. montana available in open area of
UI. This study also examined the relationship among the quantitative of flower?s
characters. A total of eight fig tress, eight figs and about 750 flowers in UI were
chosen to be sampled. Each flowers were measured at ocular micrometer for their
quantitative characters and at the same time morphology of fig flowers of all fig
species were compared. The key of reproductive character to identify four
dioecious species of figs available in UI, Depok are number of stamen, style and
stigma shape, and perianth (tepal) shape of staminate and pistillate flowers. Based
on correlation coefficients of Pearson and coefficient of variation (CV),
relationship among the flower characters show that pedicel length, both in gall
figs and seed figs, appeared to compensate greatly for changes in most of floral
features such that all flowers reached a common height. Other characters had
very low CV?s, suggesting their relative invariance within the syconium and
possibly poor condition to the compensatory growth."

"ABSTRAK
Intrusi air laut ke daratan telah menjadi fenomena alam global. Salah satu dampak yang ditimbulkan dari kejadian tersebut adalah perubahan komunitas mikroba. Perubahan komunitas mikroba sangat berpengaruh pada tingkat kesuburan tanah. Pemanfaatan daerah pesisir untuk kegiatan pertanian akan sangat dipengaruhi oleh dampak perubahan tersebut. Pemanfaatan mikroba halotoleran sebagai biofertiliser diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil pertanian. Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai isolasi dan seleksi kapang halotoleran pelarut fosfat dan penghasil IAA serta aplikasinya pada tanaman padi varietas Ciherang untuk mendapatkan isolat kapang halotoleran yang dapat digunakan sebagai agen biofertiliser dalam kondisi lingkungan salin. Diisolasi sebanyak 74 isolat kapang dari lingkungan mangrove Pulau Laki, Kepulauan Seribu dan Suwung, Bali. Tujuh isolat memiliki kemampuan pelarutan Ca-P yang tinggi. Pengujian ketahanan pertumbuhan pada variasi konsentrasi NaCl (0, 2, 5, 10, dan 20%) diperoleh satu isolat, yaitu PBB 3.1 yang mampu tumbuh sampai konsentrasi 20%. Isolat tersebut mampu melarutkan Ca-P sebanyak 68,97 mgL-1 pada konsentrasi 2% NaCl pada inkubasi 72 jam. Produksi IAA tertinggi dicapai pada konsentrasi 0% NaCl, pada inkubasi 48 jam sebesar 0,533 mgL-1. Isolat PBB 3.1 diidentifikasi secara molekular sebagai Aspergillus niger (van Tieghem 1867).
Aplikasi inokulan Aspergillus niger PBB 3.1 dilakukan pada skala rumah kaca pada tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) varietas Ciherang, dengan variasi konsentrasi salinitas 0; 1,0; 1,5; 2,0 dan 2,5%. Pemberian inokulan Aspergillus niger PBB 3.1 sebanyak 200 g/10 kg pada media tanam berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman padi. Indikasi ini terlihat dari meningkatnya nilai FDA, populasi kapang, tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, dan bobot 1000 butir. Pemberian inokulan pada salinitas 0% mampu meningkatkan bobot 1000 butir sebesar 52%. Sedangkan pada salinitas 1,0% terjadi peningkatkan produktivitas sebesar 144%. Mekanisme pengaruh inokulan Aspergillus niger PBB 3.1 masih perlu terus dikaji. Namun, fenomena tersebut membuktikan bahwa isolat Aspergillus niger PBB 3.1 berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai inokulan biofertiliser pada tanaman padi varietas Ciherang yang ditanam dalam kondisi salin sampai 1,0%.;Intrusion of sea water into terrestrial environment is global phenomenon. One of the possible impacts of the sea water intrusion is the soil microbial community structures disturbances. The Change of soil microbial community structure will affect greatly soil fertility, and thus influence utilization of coastal areas for agricultural activities. The use of halotolerant microbes as biofertilizer in coastal areas are expected to increase agricultural yield.

This research focused on the isolation and selection of halotolerant fungi and their application for biofertilizer of paddy (Oryza sativa L.) var. Ciherang. The special objective was to obtain halotolerant fungus which is capable of stimulating phosphate solubilization and producing growth hormone (IAA) in saline condition. Seventy four isolates fungi were obtained from mangrove and coastal environment of Laki Island in the Kepulauan Seribu and Suwung, Bali. Seven isolates were having good Ca-P solubilizing capacity. These isolate were further evaluated for their ability to grow under various NaCl concentration 0, 2, 5, 10, and 20%. One isolate Aspergillus (PBB.3.1) was proven to grow at 20% salinity. The strain was able to solubilize Ca-P of 68.97 mgL-1 at salinity 2% after 72 hours, whereas IAA produced maximum 0.533 mgL-1 at 0% salinity after 48 hours. Based on the ITS1 and ITS2 of LSU analyses, this strain was identified as Aspergillus niger (van Tieghem 1867).
Application of Aspergillus niger PBB 3.1 as biofertilizer for paddy (Oryza sativa L.) var. Ciherang was conducted in greenhouse. Five concentration of salinities were evaluated 0; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0 and 2.5%. Using 200 g/10 kg inoculant Aspergillus niger (PBB.3.1) stimulated the growth of paddy as indicated by an increase in FDA, population of fungi, plant height, panicle production and weight of seeds. Using 200 g/10 kg inoculant clearly affected the weight of 1000 grains, which can be seen on the 0% achieved 52% increase, whereas at 10% the weight of 1000 grains was much more stimulated, namely about 144%. The mechanism by which Aspergillus niger PBB 3.1 affect the growth and yield of paddy need further verification.Our experiment clearly noted that Aspergillus niger PBB 3.1 has the potential to be developed as biofertilizer for Oryza sativa L. var. Ciherang grown under saline conditions up to 1.0%.;Intrusion of sea water into terrestrial environment is global phenomenon. Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici (Sacc.) W.C. Snyder & H.N. Hans.
penyebab penyakit layu pada tanaman tomat (Lycopersicon esculetum Mill.).
Kapang rizosfer diisolasi dari daerah perakaran tanaman tomat di lahan
konvensional Desa Cikahuripan dan Sukamulya, Sukabumi. Tujuh belas spesies
yang antagonis terhadap F. oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici telah diidentifikasi dari 47
isolat yang diisolasi dan 2 isolat koleksi LIPI MC. Mekanisme antagonis untuk
mengendalikan patogen terlihat beragam dari tiap spesies kapang rizosfer.
Kompetisi dengan kapang patogen terlihat pada Trichoderma sp. dan Mucor sp.
Semua isolat kapang rizosfer memproduksi agen antifungi volatil bukan HCN dan
tidak dapat memproduksi enzim kitinase. Kapang rizosfer memproduksi agen
antifungi non-volatil iturin yaitu Aspergillus fumigatus Fres., Aspergillus niger
Van Tieghem, dan 2 isolat Aspergillus sp. Enzim protease diproduksi oleh
A. fumigatus, Aspergillus sp., Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht, dan
Humicola fuscoatra Traaen. Aspergillus niger dan Penicillium sp., merupakan
kapang rizosfer yang memproduksi agen antifungi non-volatil dan volatil terhadap
patogen. Baik pada suspensi konidia patogen yang disimpan 4° C dan tidak
disimpan dalam lemari pendingin yang diberi agen antifungi non-volatil
Aspergillus niger (1:1) memperlihatkan persentase hambatan pertumbuhan
konidia patogen tertinggi masing-masing 77,97 % dan 76,08 % pada pengamatan
jam ke-8. Agen antifungi non-volatil Aspergillus niger pada berbagai konsentrasi
meningkatkan perkecambahan tomat masing-masing 4,17 % pada benih tomat
yang diberi filtrat atau suspensi konidia patogen yang diinkubasi selama 30 menit.
Sedangkan waktu inkubasi 60 menit, agen antifungi non-volatil A. niger pada
berbagai konsentrasi meningkatkan perkecambahan tomat 5,25 %?21,04 % pada
benih tomat yang diberi suspensi konidia patogen dan menurunkan
perkecambahan tomat 6,38 %?13,04 % pada benih tomat yang diberi filtrat
patogen. Perpanjangan waktu inkubasi 30 menit menghambat selama 4 hari
kolonisasi patogen pada tomat yang diberi campuran filtrat atau suspensi konidia
patogen dan agen antifungi non-volatil A. niger pada berbagai konsentrasi. Agen
antifungi volatil dari Penicillium sp. dapat menghambat perkecambahan konidia
patogen sebesar 22,07 %.

Abstract
Rhizosphere moulds have activities to reduce the growth of Fusarium
oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici (Sacc.) W.C. Snyder & H.N. Hans, the causal
pathogen of wilt disease of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) plant.
Moulds were isolated from rhizosphere of tomato plants growing in the Villages
of Cikahuripan and Sukamulya, Sukabumi. Seventeen species that have
antagonistic effect to F. oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici were identified from 47
isolates isolated from rhizosphere of tomato plant and 2 isolates of LIPI MC
collection. Antagonistic mechanism for control the pathogen seemed different
from each species of the rhizosphere moulds. Competition with the pathogen was
produced by Trichoderma sp. and Mucor sp. All isolates of the rhizosphere
moulds produced non-HCN volatile antifungal agent and did not produced
chitinase enzyme. Rhizosphere moulds that produced iturin non-volatile
antifungal agent were Aspergillus fumigatus Fres., Aspergillus niger Van
Tieghem, and 2 isolates of Aspergillus sp. Protease enzyme was produced by
A. fumigatus, Aspergillus sp., Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht, and
Humicola fuscoatra Traaen. Aspergillus niger and Penicillium sp. were
rhizophere moulds that produced non-volatile and volatile antifungal agents
respectively against the pathogen. Both on the suspension of the pathogen conidia
stored in 4° C and unstored in refregerator that given non-volatile antifungal agent
of A. niger (1 : 1) showed the highest percent inhibition of the pathogen conidia
respectively 77.97 % and 76.08 % in observation to-8 hours. Non-volatile
antifungal agent of A. niger at various consentrations increased the germination of
tomato respectively at 4.17 % on tomato that given the filtrate or suspension of
conidia of the patogen at 30 minutes incubation. While in the incubation time of
60 minutes, non-volatile antifungal agent of A. niger at various concentration
increased the germination of tomato at 5.25 %─21.04 % on tomato that given
suspension of conidia of the pathogen and decreased the germination of tomato at
6.38 %─13.04 % on tomato that given the pathogen filtrate. Extending of
incubation time for 30 minutes 4 days delayed the colonization of the pathogen on
tomato that given a mixture of the filtrate or the suspension of the pathogen
conidia and non-volatil antifungal agent of A. niger at various concentrations.
The volatile antifungal agent of Penicillium sp. decreased the germination of
conidia of the patogen at 22.07 %."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian tentang populasi rotan jernang (Daemonorops draco Willd.) di desa
Jebak Batanghari, Provinsi Jambi belum pernah dilakukan. Rotan jernang
merupakan tumbuhan penghasil getah jernang yang memiliki banyak manfaat.
Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode
purposive random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, populasi rotan jernang hanya 8 rumpun yang
terdiri dari 82 individu. Selain rotan jernang juga ditemukan 6 spesies rotan lain.
Spesies rotan yang memilik jumlah individu terbesar adalah rotan lilin yaitu 11
rumpun yang terdiri dari 197 individu. Rotan jernang merupakan rotan yang
memiliki populasi terkecil dibandingkan populasi rotan jenis lain. Kondisi di
lokasi penelitian adalah suhu udara berkisar 20,20C -28,90C; kelembapan udara
berkisar 58%-68%, dan pH berkisar 4,60-4,81. Selain itu, diperoleh 35 spesies
tumbuhan yang berfungsi sebagai rambatan rotan jernang sejumlah 73 individu.
Jumlah pohon rambatan yang tidak sebanding dengan jumlah Rotan jernang

tumbuhan berdiameter batang > 10 cm terdiri dari 69 individu dengan Indeks
Nilai Penting (INP) 11 yaitu trembesi, serta 33 spesies tumbuhan berdiameter
batang < 10 cm, yang terdiri dari 60 individu dengan INP tertinggi 20 yaitu
trembesi. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa populasi rotan jernang di desa
Jebak Batanghari, Provinsi Jambi sudah sulit ditemukan disebabkan pembalakan
liar dan perambahan hutan

Abstract
Research of Rattan Jernang (Daemonorops draco Willd.) population in Jebak
Batanghari district, Jambi has never done. Daemonorops draco is a plant that
produces dragon blood. Dragon blood is very useful for Suku Anak Dalam Jambi
life. This research uses purposive random sampling method. All of data are
analyzed by description. Based on the research, it shows that except
Daemonorops draco, there were also found six species of rattan. The population
of Daemonorops draco in Jebak forest was only 8 clamps, consisting of 82
individuals. Daemonorops draco had the smallest population among the other
ones. The highest population was Calamus javensis, consising of 11 clams 197
individuals. The condition of the research location was that the temperature was
20.20C -28.90C, the humidity was 58%-68%, and pH was 4.60-4.81. In this
location, there were also found 35 species of plants (73 individuals) as
Daemonorops draco?s vine. The amount of the Daemonorops draco?s vine and
Daemonorops draco was not balance, this condition caused the death of
Daemonorops draco in Jebak forest. Based on the vegetation analyze, it was
found 51 species of plants with diameter > 10 cm consist of 69 individuals the
highest SIV is Pithecolobium saman (11), and 33 species plants with diameter
< 10 cm consist of 60 individuals, the highest SIV is Pithecolobium saman (20).
Based on the interview, it shows that the population of Daemonorops draco in
Jebak forest was rare because of illegal logging and forest encroachment"

"Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai aktivitas antagonistis 52 isolat actinomycetes terhadap 2 isolat Ganoderma TB3 dan TB4. Isolat actinomycetes tersebut berasal dari pesisir Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta. Isolat Ganoderma berasal dari hutan kota Wales Timur serta kawasan hijau seberang Stadion Universitas Indonesia, Depok. Penapisan aktivitas antagonistis dilakukan dengan metode plug dan metode cross streak. Hasil penapisan diperoleh satu isolat actinomycetes SM 12 yang menghambat pertumbuhan kedua isolat Ganoderma. Uji lanjutan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibiosis isolat SM 12 dilakukan dengan mencampurkan filtrat medium pertumbuhan SM 12 terhadap medium pertumbuhan Ganoderma TB3 dan TB4. Uji filtrat medium pertumbuhan pada hari ke-13 dan hari ke-16 inkubasi menunjukkan penghambatan pertumbuhan Ganoderma TB3 dan TB4. Sementara itu, aktivitas antagonistis dalam medium serbuk gergaji (bag log) tidak menunjukkan adanya hambatan pertumbuhan GanodermaTB3 dan TB4.

Research about antagonistic activity of 52 isolates of actinomycetes against 2 isolates of Ganoderma TB3 and TB4 has been carried out. These actinomycetes were obtained from the of Pramuka Island Coast, Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta. Ganoderma isolates were obtained from Hutan Kota Wales Timur and green areas opposite Stadion Universitas Indonesia, Depok. Screening of antagonistic activity was carried out by plug method and cross streak method. The results of screening showed one actinomycetes isolate, SM 12, which able to inhibit two Ganoderma isolates. Further test to determine the antibiosis activity of SM 12 was carried out by mixing the growth filtrate of SM 12 on the growth media of Ganoderma TB3 and TB4. The test of the growth filtrate after 13 and 16 days of incubation showed inhibition of the growth of Ganoderma TB3 and TB4. Meanwhile, the antagonistic activity test on the sawdust media (bag log) did not show any inhibition of the growth of Ganoderma TB3 and TB4.

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian telah dilakukan untuk menganalisis kromosom ikan koi Kohaku (Cyprinus carpio L.) dengan teknik kultur sel darah. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai jumlah dan karakter morfologi kromosom ikan koi Kohaku (Cyprinus carpio L.). Preparat kromosom diperoleh dari sel darah ikan koi Kohaku yang dikultur dengan menggunakan medium RPMI 1640, mitogen PHA-M, faktor tumbuh FBS, dan antibiotic antimycotic pada suhu 37°C selama 72 jam dalam inkubator dengan 5% CO2. Perlakuan penghambatan pembentukkan spindel untuk mendapatkan sebaran kromosom metafase dilakukan dengan pemberian 10µg/mL kolsemid kemudian di inkubasi selama dua jam. Sampel kemudian diberi perlakuan hipotonis dengan larutan KCl 0,075 M di inkubasi selama 8 menit, dan perlakuan fiksatif dengan larutan metanol dan asam asetat glasial dalam perbandingan 3: 1 selama 10 menit. Sampel diwarnai dengan Giemsa 5%, dan diamati di bawah mikroskop Leica dengan perbesaran 10x100. Jumlah kromosom dihitung dengan bantuan software ImageJ. Pengamatan sebaran kromosom metafase yang didapatkan menunjukkan ikan koi Kohaku memiliki kromosom yang berjumlah berkisar 2n= ca. 100--102. Hasil yang diperoleh diharapkan dapat menjadi informasi dasar kromosom spesies, melihat kekerabatan spesies, dan pengembangan sitogenetik di Indonesia.

ABSTRACT
Research to analyze chromosomes Kohaku koi (Cyprinus carpio L.) using blood cell culture techniques has been conducted. The aim of the research was to obtain information about the number and size of chromosome of the Kohaku koi (Cyprinus carpio L.) chromosome. Chromosomes were obtained from Kohaku koi fish blood cell culture. The cells were cultured using RPMI 1640 medium, mitogen from PHA-M, FBS growing factor, and antibiotic antimycotic at a temperature of 37°C for 72 hours in a 5% CO2 incubator. The inhibition of spindle formation to obtain chromosomal metaphase distribution was carried out by two-hours colcemid treatment at a dosage of 10 µg/mL. The samples were subjected to 0.075 M KCl hypotonic solution for 8 minutes, and fixed with a solution of methanol and glacial acetic acid in a 3: 1 ratio for 10 minutes. Samples were tinged with 5% Giemsa and observed under a Leica microscope software with 10 x 100 magnification. The number of chromosomes has been calculated by using ImageJ software. According to the data obtained, Kohaku koi fish chromosome numbers ranged from 2n=ca. 100 to 2n=ca.102. The results were expected to be the basic of chromosome information that would be beneficial for predicting the kinship of species as well as the development of cytogenetics in Indonesia."
