"This study concerned the nation of using Task-Based Learning for teaching english Integrated Skills to the first semester students of English Department, Mulawarman University. In fact, most students have minimum knowledge and ability on English skills when they attend the class for their first semester. They also have lack of knowledge on grammar and limitted vocabulary. The other factors determining the students success in learning a language are teaching methods, teacher's competence on language and pedagogy, school environment, facilities, and media. The limited and lacks of those factors cause them to be unsuccessful in learning a language. A teaching innovation is so important to be applied to the students that the students are able to know well about the language knowledge and theory, all at once, and they can practice it although it is limited only in the classroom situation. The writer intends to introduce try out the method of Task-Based to the students while they are learning english. Task-Based learning is a different way to teach languages. It can help the student by placing her in a situation like in the real world. A situation where oral communication used is essential for doing a specific task. Task-Based learning offers the student an opportunity to do exactly meaningful tasks or activities. The primary focus of classroom activiy is the task and the language is the instrument which the students use to complete it. The writer is interested to describe how the Task-Based Learning is and what activities can be applied to teach english by using this method. This study produces some kinds of activities to teach english based on the topics which the activities on each topic is divided into three phases. Actually, it is the product of doing design and development research. It produces the teaching instructional model which applies Task-Based learning that can be utilized for teaching integrated skills "

"ABSTRAK

Penerimaan e-learning pada suatu organisasi menjadi kunci penting dalam menentukan kesuksesan penggunaan sistem. Diketahui penerimaan e-learning MA RI tidak mencapai target. Oleh karena itu perlu membangun motivasi pegawai dalam menggunakan e-learning, salah satu hal yang penulis pandang penting adalah dukungan lingkungan pembelajaran organisasi dalam bentuk dukungan manajerial, dukungan kerja, dan dukungan organisasi, dukungan pekerjaan dan dukungan teman. Oleh karena itu tujuan pertama penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan pembelajaran organisasi dalam mendorong motivasi pegawai berdasarkan teori SDT dalam menggunakan e-learning MA RI. Tujuan kedua yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh tiga kebutuhan psikologi dasar manusia yang terdiri dari perceived autonomy, perceived relatedness, perceived competence dimana merupakan variabel SDT terhadap persepsi kemudahan dan kebermanfaatan e-learning MA RI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived autonomy, perceived relatedness, perceived competence mempengaruhi faktor-faktor tersebut sesuai dengan hipotesis yang diajukan. Persepsi keterkaitan (relatedness) tidak terbukti mempengaruhi kemudahan penggunaan dan manfaat penggunaan e-learning MA RI.


ABSTRACT


The acceptance of e-learning will be done in the form of a system. It is known that the reception of e-learning of the RI MA did not reach the target. Therefore it is necessary to build an understanding in using e-learning, one of the things that edits are used is a variety of activities, in the form of organization, work, and various jobs. Therefore it is the first is the learning carried out by SDT students in using e-learning MA RI. The second objective is to find out the influence of psychology, perceived autonomy, perceived relatedness, perceived competence when becoming SDT variables on the perceived ease and usefulness of e-learning MA RI. The results of the study show that perceived autonomy, perceived relatedness, perceived competence influence the factors that are in accordance with the proposed hypothesis. However, only perceived relatedness are not proven to affect the use and benefits of using the MA RI e-learning.

"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas pelatihan dan pembelajaran informal sebagai metode untuk mengembangkan kompetensi karyawan dengan didukung motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 224 karyawan instansi pemerintah yakni Sekretariat Kabinet sebagai responden. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis faktor dan analisis regresi menunjukkan, bahwa pelatihan dan pembelajaran informal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi, sedangkan motivasi belajar juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pelatihan dan pembelajaran informal. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pembelajaran informal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi, namun nilai hasil t-statistik lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan nilai t-statistik antara pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kompetensi. Keberhasilan program pelatihan dan aktivitas belajar akan memperoleh hasil yang maksimal manakala didukung oleh motivasi pegawai dalam mengikuti pelatihan dan melakukan aktifitas-aktifitas pembelajaran informal.

ABSTRACT


This thesis discusses training and informal learning as a method for developing employee competencies to be influenced by the motivation to learn. This research is a quantitative research involving 224 employees of government agencies namely the Cabinet Secretariat as respondents. The results of data analysis using factor analysis and regression analysis showed that the competence of employees affected by the training and informal learning and motivation to learn a significant effect on training and informal learning. The results also showed that despite significant effect on the informal learning competence, but the value of the t-statistic is lower than the value of t-statistics between training towards competencies. The success of the training programs and learning activities will obtain the maximum results when supported by motivation in training and doing informal learning activities

"Manajemen Insiden merupakan bagian yang diperlukan dalam pengelolaan layanan IT. Penerapan manajemen insiden dapat meningkatkan layanan dan membantu mencapai tujuan organisasi. Insiden IT dapat menjadi referensi dan dapat membentuk pola yang dapat dipelajari sehingga dapat dijadikan prediksi sebuah insiden di masa datang. Riset ini membandingkan beberapa teknik awal machine learning (Random Forest, SVM, Multi Layer Perceptron) dengan beberapa teknik terbaru machine learning (RNN, LSTM, GRU) untuk memprediksi insiden IT. Kami menggunakan dataset ITSM data insiden. Grid search akan mencari kombinasi parameter terbaik hingga didapatkan optimal model. Cross-validation sebagai evaluasi teknik digunakan untuk menguji kinerja optimal model. Kami menggunakan 5-fold dan 10-fold cross-validation digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja model dengan membagi dataset menjadi data pelatihan dan data uji. Hasil perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa akurasi tertinggi sebesar 98,866% yang dihasilkan oleh teknik machine learning LSTM pada 5-fold dan 10-fold cross-validation, SVM mempunyai akurasi terendah sebesar 97,837% yang dihasilkan oleh teknik machine learning SVM pada 5-fold dan 10-fold cross-validation.

Incident Management is a part of managing IT services. The application of Incident Management can improve services and help achieve organizational goals. IT incidents could be a reference and can be learned so that they can be used as predictions of future incidents. This research compares the factors that cause incidents by using some initial machine learning techniques (Random forest, SVM, Multilayer perceptron) and compared with the latest machine learning techniques (RNN, LSTM, GRU) to predict IT incidents. We use the ITSM incident dataset. Grid search will find the best parameter combination until the optimal model is obtained, subsequently cross-validation as an evaluation technique is used to test the optimal performance of the model. We use 5-fold and 10-fold cross-validation to evaluate the performance of the model by dividing the dataset into training data and test data. The results of the comparison show that the highest accuracy of 98,866% produced by LSTM machine learning techniques at 5-fold and 10-fold cross-validation, SVM has the lowest accuracy of 97.837% produced by machine learning SVM at 5-fold and 10-fold cross-validation."

"Tugas Akhir ini membahas rencana intervensi untuk mengatasi masalah kesenjangan kompetensi karyawan PT XYZ dengan pendekatan team learning approach (pembelajaran tim). Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 30 karyawan Unit A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sumber masalah adalah belum memadainya public reflection dan shared meaning dalam roda pembelajaran tim. Pada public reflection, tim melakukan refleksi secara bersama mengenai pengalaman tim pada masa lalu serta melakukan introspeksi terhadap pengalaman tim tersebut. Pada shared meaning, tim menciptakan gagasan dan kemungkinan untuk bertindak serta membangun dasar yang sama agar tim dapat mencapai pemahaman bersama. Alternatif intervensi yang direkomendasikan adalah menciptakan pemimpin tim yang efektif dengan mengadakan pelatihan kepemimpinan kepada para supervisor menggunakan Lewin's Change Model.

This study ojers an intervention plan to overcome employee conmetency gap of PT XYZ through team learning approach Conducted for 30 employees of Unit A, result of study is showing that root of cause was due to inadequacy of public rejlection and shared meaning in team learning wheel. In public reflection team is conducting reflection and review about team experience in the past. In shared meaning team is creating ideas and act possibilities, together with builthng agreed foundation to achieve understanding. Recommended alternative interventions is to create epeetive team leader by providing leadershhn training to supervisors using Lewin's Change Model."

"Peningkatan keselamatan dan efisiensi dalam industri minyak dan gas bumi di Indonesia masih memerlukan pendekatan yang canggih untuk memelihara sistem perpipaan yang ada. Disertasi ini membahas penerapan metode Risk Based Inspection (RBI) dengan dukungan teknologi machine learning (ML) dan deep learning (DL) untuk mengembangkan model yang mampu mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan dan solusi untuk menanggulangi kegagalan tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan pada sampel ex-spool berdiameter 16’’ melalui pengujian metalografi dan penggunaan algoritma AdaBoost, Random Forests, dan Gradient Boosting. Metode klasifikasi masalah dilakukan berdasarkan prinsip K-Means Clustering dan Gaussian Mixture Model dan penelitian divalidasi menggunakan metode k-fold cross-validation. Model yang dihasilkan mampu mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan jenis kegagalan ke dalam 3 kelompok sesuai jenis risikonya masing-masing serta memberikan beragam metode pemeliharaan material yang lebih ekonomis. Program artificial intelligence ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan keselamatan dan keandalan operasi perpipaan minyak dan gas di Indonesia melalui penerapan berbagai metode pemeliharaan pipa di masa depan.

Improving safety and efficiency in the oil and gas industry in Indonesia still requires a sophisticated approach to maintain the existing piping systems. This dissertation discusses the application of the risk-based inspection (RBI) method with the support of machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) technology to develop a model that is able to identify the potential root-cause and its solutions to overcome these failures. The research was carried out on a 16'' diameter ex-spool sample through metallographic testing and the use of AdaBoost, Random Forests, and Gradient Boosting algorithms. The problem classification method was carried out based on the principles of K-means clustering and the Gaussian Mixture Model, while the research was validated using the k-fold cross-validation method. The resulting model is able to identify and classify types of failure into three groups according to each type of risk and provides a variety of more economical material maintenance solutions. It is hoped that this artificial intelligence program can support efforts to increase the safety and reliability of oil and gas pipeline operations in Indonesia through the application of various pipeline maintenance methods in the future."
