"Reinforcement learning encompasses both a science of adaptive behavior of rational beings in uncertain environments and a computational methodology for finding optimal behaviors for challenging problems in control, optimization and adaptive behavior of intelligent agents. As a field, reinforcement learning has progressed tremendously in the past decade.
The main goal of this book is to present an up-to-date series of survey articles on the main contemporary sub-fields of reinforcement learning. This includes surveys on partially observable environments, hierarchical task decompositions, relational knowledge representation and predictive state representations. Furthermore, topics such as transfer, evolutionary methods and continuous spaces in reinforcement learning are surveyed. In addition, several chapters review reinforcement learning methods in robotics, in games, and in computational neuroscience. "

"The objective of this study is to analyze the effects of the student's belief of knowledge and learning toward the students' performance. The assumptions used are: 1) Knowledge is certain 2) Knowledge is complex 3) Learning is not fast and easy 4)Knowledge capacity is not based solely on the performace variable. The subjects for the study were students majoring in Accounting of a university located in Banten. Both the descriptive analysis method and the path analysis were used in this study to analyze the data. The result indicate that the students belief on knowledge and learning affected the students' performance, both directly and indirectly, as much as 7%."

A System Approach to Quantum Improvement and Global Success'.

This tesis learning about learner organization that enables organizations can adapt better and faster toward change of environmental conditions rapidly. The problem on this research is the characteristics of Learning Organization which embrace five sub systems according to Marquadt Learning, Organization, People, Knowledge, and Technology and describe the detentions of learningprocess at Narcotics National Board BNN Education and Training Center. The approach of this research is quantitative approach. Methodologically, based on the purpose of this research is descriptivewhich using one variable. The population of this research is all employees of Education and Training Center Narcotics National Board, with the technique is census with 36 people. This tesis using questionnaire about the Learning Organization Profile for the instrument developed by Marquadt in his book Building the Learning Organization A System Approach to Quantum Improvement and Global Success.
The results of data analysis describing about the characteristics of learning organization at the Education and Training Center Narcotics National Board Obtained the average value for each sub system is 1 Learning 25,75 2 Organization 25,53 3 People 26,31 4 Knowledge 24.83 And 5 Technology 24.25.To sum up, based on these findings, Education and Training Center National Narcotics Board has strong Characteristic by significantly improvements, because it is still relatively strong and the average score is below 30 still below recommended By Marquadt. Therefore, significant strategies must be developed from each sub system. To become a learning organization requires the alignment and adjustment of personal vision with the vision of the organization through the discussion and can accommodate, encourage and appreciate all forms of group cooperation. Thus the process of transformation into the learning organization will be effective.
