"ABSTRAK
Penelitian kualitatif ini memaparkan pemikiran Pierre Bourdieu dan Theo van
Leuween dalam membongkar kekerasan simbolik terhadap perempuan melalui
medium fotografi di facebook. Pemaknaan foto melalui semiotika sosial Theo van
Leuween merupakan hasil objektif-subjektif peneliti yang dikonfirmasi oleh
informan, dilanjutkan dengan analisis mendalam dari pemikiran Pierre Boudieu
tentang Habitus, doxa, modal, dan arena sebagai struktur pembentukan kekerasan
simbolik. Bentuk-bentuk kekerasan simbolik yang dilihat dari semiotika sosial
adalah fokus utama foto ada pada bagian payudara, penggunaan atribusi fotografi
(kamera, lensa, tripod, tas kamera, warna kaos) untuk mendominasi perempuan,
kata-kata vulgar dalam group facebook KFI, serta jenis pakaian yang dikenakan
perempuan saat pemotretan. Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini adalah terbentuknya
habitus fotografi portrait sebagai medium untuk mendominasi perempuan serta
group facebook KFI sebagai arenanya yang dibangun atas dasar budaya patriarki,
dimana dalam KFI tidak terdapat fungsi sensor dalam pembatasan pornografi.
Kekerasan simbolik juga terpelihara karena adanya hubungan transaksional,
fungsi rekreasi, nilai ekonomi serta upaya pendakian status anggota KFI dengan
cara mengunggah foto perempuan seksi di group facebook KFI. Struktur habitus
ini dibentuk dari berbagai aspek, yaitu modal ekonomi, modal simbolik (edukasi),
sejarah fotografi, hunting model, industri kamera serta facebook

ABSTRACT
This qualitative research examined to investigate symbolic violence against
women on Indonesian Photography Community online (KFI) on facebook through
portrait photography. The meaning of image (portrait of women) were profoundly
and critically analyzed by, both subjectivity and objectivity, expending Habitus,
doxa, modal and field theory by Pierre Bourdieu, utilizing van Leuween‟s social
semiotic and confirmed by spokesperson. The form of symbolic violence against
women done within various areas. Breast is the main focus of the images,
photography attribution (camera, telephoto lens, tripod, camera bag, shirt) use as a
symbols of domination, dirty comment on facebook, and obviously the fashion
were threaded as symbolic violence. The main result of this research argue that
photography is the core medium to dominate women and facebook group KFI as
the central field without pornography censorship as constructed by culture of
patriarchy. Symbolic violence were continued in KFI as transactional relationship,
refreshing, economic value, and social climb, by upload various photograph of
sexy women. This structure of Habitus shape by economic modal, symbolic
modal, education, history of photography in Indonesia, hunting model, camera
industry and facebook."

"Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh firm created social media brand communication terhadap Consumer Based Brand Equity (CBBE) metrics yang terdiri atas brand awareness/ associations, brand loyalty dan perceived quality melalui Facebook pada studi kasus Pertamax. Penelitian ini merupakan replikasi dari penelitian sebelumnya oleh Schivinski dan Dabrowski (2014) dengan menggunakan non probability sampling melalui online survey pada Facebook PertamaxIND serta menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).
Berdasarkan analisis terhadap data 426 responden pengguna Pertamax yang berdomisili di wilayah Jabodetabek diperoleh hasil bahwa evaluasi positif dari firm-created social media brand communication secara positif mempengaruhi brand awareness/associations, brand loyalty, dan perceived quality. Selain itu, brand awareness/ associations juga secara positif mempengaruhi brand loyalty dan perceived quality.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of social media firm created brand communication to the Consumer-Based Brand Equity (CBBE) metrics consisting of brand awareness /associations, brand loyalty and perceived quality via Facebook on case studies Pertamax. This study is a replication of a previous study by Schivinski and Dabrowski (2014) by using a non-probability sampling through an online survey on Facebook PertamaxIND and using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).
Based on an analysis of the data 426 respondents Pertamax users who live in the Greater Jakarta area showed that the positive evaluation of the firm-created social media brand communication positively influence brand awareness/ associations, brand loyalty, and perceived quality. Additionally, brand awareness/ associations also positively influence brand loyalty and perceived quality.

Penelitian ini mengeksplanasi tipe interaktivitas; jangkauan interaktivitas; dan prediktor yang dapat memperkuat interaktivitas media sosial Facebook dan Twitter pemerintah. Kebaruan penelitian ini dari penelitian terdahulu adalah elaborasi pengukuran interaktivitas di media sosial serta uji prediksi variabel yang lebih komprehensif. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode campuran analisis isi dan kualitatif. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan regresi binomial negatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tipe interaktivitas media sosial pemerintah adalah interaktivitas reaktif. Komunikasi pemerintah melalui media sosial masih cenderung satu arah. Sementara jangkauan interaktivitas pesan pemerintah memiliki frekuensi kedua terbesar setelah pengaplikasian interaktivitas dengan tipe reaktif oleh pengguna. Prediktor signifikan interaktivitas dari fitur konten baik di Facebook maupun twitter adalah topik post/tweet. Topik yang secara umum berpengaruh positif terhadap keseluruhan tipe interaktivitas dan jangkauan interaktivitas baik di Facebook maupun Twitter adalah topik Iklan Layanan Masyarakat. Prediktor signifikan interaktivitas dari fitur struktur di Facebook adalah hashtag. Sementara prediktor signifikan interaktivitas dari fitur struktur di Twitter adalah elemen multimedia dan external link. Hasil penelitian diperkaya dalam bentuk masukan dari pengguna untuk meningkatkan interaktivitas media sosial pemerintah di era open government.

 


This study describes the type of interactivity; the breadth of interactivity; and predictors that can strengthen the interactivity of government account on Facebook and Twitter. The novelty of this research from previous research is the elaboration of measurements of interactivity on social media as well as more comprehensive variable prediction tests. The research method uses a mixture of content and qualitative analysis methods. Hypothesis testing is done by negative binomial regression. The results of the study show that the type of government social media interactivity is reactive interactivity. Government communication through social media still tends to be one-way. While the message the breadth of interactivity of the government has the second largest frequency after the application of interactivity to the reactive type by the user. A significant predictor of interactivity from content features both on Facebook and Twitter is the topic of posts / tweets. Topics that generally have a positive influence on the overall type of interactivity and interactivity range both on Facebook and Twitter are the topics of public service advertising. A significant predictor of interactivity from the structural features on Facebook is the hashtag. While significant predictors of interactivity from structural features on Twitter are multimedia elements and external links. The research results are enriched in the form of input from users to enhance the interactivity of government social media in the open government era.

"Tesis ini membahas mengenai bagaimana keterbukaan seseorang dalam mengekspresikan perasaannya melalui status Facebook dan bagaimana cara mengontrol keterbukaan yang bersifat private. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme, metode penelitian naratif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengumpulan status update, catatan lapangan, dan wawancara. Konsep yang digunakan adalah konsep privacy yang berhubungan dengan cara informan mengelola privacy-nya di status Facebook melalui teori Communication Privacy Management. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa seorang penulis status di Facebook mengungkapkan private information kepada publik secara implisit melalui rangkaian status secara berkala. Ditemukan pula aturan-aturan yang dibentuk oleh penulis status Facebook bagaimana cara mereka membuat aturan-aturan agar privacy tetap terjaga. Unsur-unsur penting dalam manajemen privacy ini tidak lepas dari faktor-faktor budaya, jenis kelamin, topik pembicaraan, dan lawan bicara.

This thesis describes about person?s openness in expressing feelings through Facebook status and the way they control their openness in private nature. This is a qualitative research, using constructivism paradigm, narative research methods with data collection technique through collecting the update status, field notes, and interviews. Privacy concept is used to relate with the way informant manage his privacy in Facebook status through theory of Communication Privacy Management. Based on the analysis has been done, it was found that a status updater in Facebook express his private information to public implisitly through a series of status periodically. It was also found that rules that have been formed by the Facebook status updater is intended to maintain privacy. The important elements in privacy management relates to culture, gender, subject speaking, and other person."

"Penelitian disertasi ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan variasi ortografis Bahasa Prancis BP dalam komunikasi Facebook FB dengan cara membandingkan ortografi BP pada FB dengan BP baku. Korpus data dibuat dari kumpulan percakapan FB sejak 2015-2016 pada 555 akun, dengan jumlah sebesar 2.775 berkas percakapan, dan data sebesar 426 berupa kata yang dituliskan dengan ortografi yang berbeda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah campuran kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi ortografis BP dalam komunikasi FB terjadi dari satuan terkecil yaitu fonogram, morfogram, kata, kata majemuk, frasa, gabungan kata, hingga klausa. Variasi ortografis ditunjukkan lewat adanya fenomena fonologis, ortografis, morfofonologis, morfologis, dan morfosintaksis yang terjadi dalam satuan linguistik. Percakapan FB merupakan percakapan yang menuntut keringkasan dalam penulisannya, terlihat dari banyaknya data yang mengalami proses reduksi, seperti pemenggalan, penyingkatan, kontraksi, elipsis, bahkan substitusi yang terjadi pun merupakan substitusi satuan bahasa yang lebih besar dengan yang lebih kecil. Namun demikian terlihat juga adanya keinginan untuk menunjukkan ekspresi dan emosi lewat penambahan. Pengguna FB dalam menuliskan percakapannya berusaha menghidupkan situasi percakapan lisan. Oleh karena itu yang juga banyak ditemukan dalam data adalah perubahan yang mempertahankan kesamaan ataupun kemiripan pelafalan satuan bahasa dengan pelafalan dalam percakapan lisan. Fenomena yang penulis beri nama 39;ecrononciation 39;.

The purpose of this dissertation is to expose French orthographic variations in Facebook FB communication by comparing French orthography in FB and Standard French orthography. The method used is mixed qualitative and quantitative method. The results show that French orthographic variation in FB communication occurs from the smallest unit, ie, phonogram, morphogram, word compound, phrase, word combination, to the clause. These orthographic variations indicate the occurence of phonological, orthographic, morphophonological, morphological, and morphosyntactic phenomena in linguistic units. FB conversations require quick writing and short posting, therefore the orthographic variations found in FB conversations are the process of reductions, such as troncation, abbreviation, contraction, ellipsis, and substitution. Substitution also categorized as reduction because in data the process done by substituting a larger language unit with a smaller one. In data, there is also an addition process which shows that FB users want to show their expression and emotion through orthographic variation. FB users try to animate verbal conversations through language units written in FB communication. This is indicated by the orthographic variations in FB that have the identical or similar pronunciation to the pronunciation of the language unit in verbal conversation, the phenomena that the author calls crononciation. "

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memahami peran need for cognitive closure terhadap perilaku unfriending pada pengguna media sosial Facebook yang mengalami perbedaan pandangan politik daring terkait Pilkada DKI Jakarta 2017. Pertanyaan survei diedarkan secara daring dan diikuti oleh 116 pengguna Facebook yang berdomisili di Jakarta. Hasil dari penelitian ini tidak menemukan pengaruh yang signifikan dari need for cognitive closure terhadap perilaku unfriending dalam konteks perbedaan pandangan politik. Akan tetapi, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan pandangan politik daring dapat memprediksi munculnya perilaku unfriending di Facebook. Perbedaan pandangan politik seharusnya dapat menjadi masukan bagi pemerintahan dan meningkatkan keterlibatan individu di dalam politik pemerintahan. Dengan munculnya kecenderungan individu untuk menghindari perbedaan pandangan politik di dunia maya, terdapat kekhawatiran akan terhambatnya proses perkembangan demokrasi yang difasilitasi oleh penggunaan internet.

ABSTRACT
The present study tries to understand the role of need for cognitive closure to unfriending behavior among Facebook users that encounters online political disagreement regarding the 2017 Jakarta Gubernatorial election. A set of survey items were administered online and yield responses from 116 Facebook users living in Jakarta. The result of this study did not found a significant effect of need for cognitive closure to unfriending behavior in the context of political disagreement. However, the present study indicates that online political disagreement is able to predict unfriending behavior in Facebook. Political disagreement should emerge as an input towards the current ruling government and promotes the people rsquo s political involvement. The emerging trend of individuals avoiding online political disagreement raises a concern in how the internet plays a role in harming democracy."

"ABSTRACT
Skripsi ini membahas tentang pengkategorisasian para pelaku hate speech di Facebook terkait dengan Basuki Tjahaya Purnama Alias Ahok yang saat itu menjabat sebagai Gubernur DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa meskipun Ahok adalah objek dari hate speech ini, namun namun yang menjadi target paling banyak justru masyarakat umum yang mendukung Ahok, atau masyarakat umum yang menolak Ahok. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini menyarankan agar pihak pemerintah dan media sosial saling bekerjasama untuk mengkaji hate speech di Facebook secara lebih mendalam, terutama berkaitan dengan identitas asli pelaku hate speech. Hal ini jika diharapkan dapat memberikan petunjuk terkait dengan siapa identitas pelaku, sehingga pihak penegak hukum dapat melakukan penindakan secepatnya, dan kasus hate speech di Facebook dapat berkurang secara signifikan.

ABSTRACT
This Thesis discussing the categorization of hate speechs perpetrators on Facebook related to Basuki Tjahaya Purnama Ahok who is an ex Jakarta Governor. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis. The results showed that even if Ahok is the subject of the hate speech, but most of the victims are people who support or against Ahok. Thus, this research suggest the government to cooperate with social media Facebook to research and reviewing hate speech more deeply. Hopefully this research will give clues about who is the perpetrators real identity, so that law enforcers could action as soon as possible, and hate speech on Facebook will reduced significantly. ni"

"Dari sekian jumlah penelitian terkait Facebook intrusion, belum banyak penelitian yang membahas tentang kaitan Facebook intrusion dengan kepuasan pernikahan, namun lebih sering dikaitkan dengan hubungan romantis saja. Selain karena memang belum banyak penelitian tentang Facebook intrusion sendiri, penelitian-penelitian terdahulu pun juga tidak banyak menjelaskan penyebab dari hubungan antara keduanya (Facebook intrusion dan hubungan romantis). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adanya hubungan antara Facebook intrusion dan kepuasan pernikahan dengan romantic jealousy sebagai mediator. Partisipan dari penelitian ini merupakan individu berusia 18-44 tahun yang sudah menikah selama setidaknya satu tahun dan menggunakan Facebook sehari-hari (N=173). Data dianalisis menggunakan PROCESS macro Hayes pada SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa romantic jealousy memediasi hubungan antara Facebook intrusion dan kepuasan pernikahan secara signifikan.

Out of many research regarding Facebook intrusion, there have not been many research conducted to see Facebook intrusion’s correlation with marital satisfaction, yet it is (Facebook intrusion) commonly correlated with only romantic relationships. Moreover, there have not been many research about Facebook intrusion itself and not a lot of the research tried to explain the causality within research variables (Facebook intrusion and romantic relationships). This research is conducted to see the correlation between Facebook intrusion and marital satisfaction with romantic jealousy as a mediator. Participants for this research are ones aged 18-44 years old, has been married for at least a year, and use Facebook daily (N=173). The data in this research was analyzed with PROCESS macro Hayes in SPSS. The result of this research shows that romantic jealousy mediated the correlation between Facebook intrusion and marital satisfaction significantly."
