"Melalui pendekatan model water sensitive city penelitian ini mengungkapkan bagaimana keberlanjutan partispasi perempuan mengatasi masalah air bersih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan penyebab munculnya permasalahan air bersih yang berdampak pada munculnya masalah social, ekonomi dan kesehatan perempuan. Munculnya masalah tersebut sangat mempengaruhi keberlanjutan partsipasi perempuan dalam mengatasi masalah air. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus tunggal pada partisipasi perempuan di Kelurahan Rawa Badak Utara RW 09, Jakarta Utara melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan keberlanjutan partisipasi perempuan mengalamai penurunan. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh rendahnya pengetahuan tentang literasi kualitas air. Ketergantungan terhadap supporting program oleh lembaga pendamping, kuatnya budaya patriarki stereotype peran perempuan di luar urusan rumah tangga, minimnya skema perlindungan dari kekerasan pengelola pasar air menyebabkan potensi partisipasi perempuan menjadi semakin menurun

Through the water sensitive city model approach, this study revealed how the sustainability of womens participation in overcoming the problem of clean water. The purpose of this study is to reveal the causes of the emergence of clean water problems that have an impact on the emergence of social, economic and womens health problems. The emergence of this problem greatly affects the sustainability of womens participation in overcoming water problems. The research method used was a single case study on womens participation in Kelurahan Rawa Badak Utara RW 09, North Jakarta through observation and interviews. The results showed the continued participation of women experiencing a decline. This is due to the lack of knowledge about water quality literacy. The dependency on supporting programs by supporting institutions, the strong patriarchal culture of stereotyping the role of women outside of domestic affairs, the potential for womens participation to decrease.

Saat ini, pemerintah terutama di Negara berkembang memiliki perhatian pada pengembangan lembaga keuangan mikro, yang diharapkan dapat mencapai keuangan inklusif dan pengentasan kemiskinan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, lembaga keuangan mikro dianjurkan untuk dapat menghasilkan keuntungan yang stabil dan berkelanjutan secara keuangan, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari faktor-faktor penentu keberlanjutan secara keuangan lembaga keuangan mikro di Indonesia. Studi penelitian menggunakan data dari MIX Market untuk menganalisa lembaga keuangan mikro di Indonesia dalam kurun waktu 12 tahun. Metode yang digunakan ialah analisis kuantitatif dengan regresi linear berganda data panel tidak lengkap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga keuangan mikro perlu menetapkan tingkat suku bunga yang cukup, menyalurkan pinjaman per nasabah pada tingkat tertentu, serta meningkatkan profitabilitas lembaga untuk mencapai keberlanjutan secara keuangan. Variabel dummy seperti peringkat dari lembaga juga berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keberlanjutan secara keuangan lembaga keuangan mikro.

 


Nowadays governments pay a great attention to develop Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) with the belief that they able to achieve financial inclusion and poverty alleviation. To achieve those goals, MFIs should become steady profitable and financially sustainable, therefore, the objective of this study is to identify determinant factors which drive financial sustainability of MFIs in Indonesia. Data on Indonesian MFIs was collected from Microfinance Information Exchange database to analyze MFIs during twelve fiscal years. The method used in this study is quantitative analysis with unbalanced panel data regression. The main results suggest that MFIs should apply sufficient interest rate, provide loan per client at a certain level, and increase profit in order to reach financial sustainability. The dummy variables, consist of MFI rating also significantly increase MFIs financial sustainability.

ABSTRACT
Urbanisms impact creates land scarcity as a result of an imbalance in urban land between supply and demand. As a developing country, Indonesia is still striving to overcome the slum area and provide decent housing for low-income groups. In fact, the city is owned by everyone, so slum people and other low-income groups have the right to the city to enjoy the results of development and its facilities and infrastructure, including decent urban living spaces. These areas are government challenges and opportunities to provide the best housing services for poor or marginal communities. Over the past decades, slum upgrading has become a global solution to overcome slum problems. It relies on the concept of self-help in which community participation is used as a means of improving and sustaining the quality of life of slum dwellers. The number of researches was carried out to analyze the level of community participation in slum upgrading, but not many analyze the level of governance in slum upgrading. The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of Indonesia governance in achieving successful slum upgrading by using a single case study of one of Indonesias slum upgrading projects, namely the Neighborhood Upgrading and Shelter Sector Project (NUSSP). The transition from centralized to decentralized governance has become the biggest challenge in implementing slum upgrading in Indonesia, especially on issues of political engagement, coordination, and cooperation, financial sustainability, tenure security, continuity, and institutionalization. This research has led to the conclusion that transitional Indonesia requires a unified strategy that combines some forms of centralized governance with some forms of decentralized governance. Finally, the concepts of self-help, less governance, and development from below proposed as the original concepts of slum upgrading could not work independently. Strong intervention, adequate governance and development from above are really needed to achieve successful slum upgrades."

"Saat ini, banyak fashion brand yang menggunakan strategi fast fashion, di mana brand-brand tersebut merespons consumer demand melalui pergantian macam barang dagangan dengan cepat dan menjual produknya dengan harga yang terjangkau. Walau selama ini strategi fast fashion telah model ini telah membawa banyak keuntungan terhadap brand, meningkatnya minat konsumen pada keberlanjutan dapat mengganggu keamanan masa depan mereka.
Situasi ini telah mendorong perusahaan untuk mengakui pentingnya sustainability dan melibatkan aspek tersebut ke dalam strategi mereka. Namun, banyak fashion brand yang masih ragu untuk meninggalkan strategi fast fashion. Situasi ini disebabkan oleh kesulitan yang mereka alami dalam menjual produk sustainable. Hal ini dapat mengarah kepada pertanyaan penelitian: bagaimana sustainability mempengaruhi cara promosi dalam mempertahankan keunggulan kompetitif dalam industri fast fashion? Temuan dalam penelitian ini akan didasarkan pada Dynamic Capabilities dan Stakeholder-based Theory. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah co-creation dalam periklanan dan penggunaan konten interaktif di media sosial akan mengarahkan fashion brand kepada keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan.

Today, many fashion brands utilize the fast fashion strategy, where they respond quickly to customers’ everchanging demands, frequently changing their merchandise assortments, and selling their products in affordable price. While this model has been beneficial, the increasing consumers’ interest in sustainability may disturb the security of their future. This situation has prompted companies to acknowledge its importance and incorporate it into their strategy. However, many fashion brands are still hesitating to leave their fast fashion way. The situation is caused by their struggle in selling sustainable product. This leads to the research question: how does sustainability influence promotion in sustaining competitive advantage within the fast fashion industry? The findings in this study will be based on Dynamic Capabilities and Stakeholder-based Theory. The result in this study is co-creation in advertising and the use of interactive content in social media would lead to sustained competitive advantage. "

"Pengembangan kendaraan listrik tentunya perlu didukung oleh sistem charging station yang bisa menjangkau pengguna kendaraan listrik secara umum dan di samping itu juga bermanfaat dalam pemanfaatan energi terbarukan. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pemanfaatan energi terbarukan sebagai sumber energi CS. Idealnya kendaraan listrik menggunakan sumber energi terbarukan yang ramah lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengkaji strategi keberlanjutan dari Hybrid Charging station (HCS) dengan metode Life Cycle Costing (LCC), Life Cycle Assesment (LCA) dan analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity, hreat). Metode penelitian menggunakan metode gabungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek ekonomi HCS tergolong efisien, kemudian pada aspek lingkungan komponen photovoltaic yang memberikan kontribusi terbesar terhadap dampak yang ditimbulkan. Stategi keberlanjutan HCS perlu didukung oleh seluruh stake holder yang berperan dalam  pengembangan kendaraan listrik dan infrastruktur pendukungnya. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah strategi pengembangan HCS yang tepat dapat mengurangi dampak lingkungan, meningkatkan efisiensi dan memudahkan pengembangan charging station yang ramah lingkungan.

The development of electric vehicles certainly needs to be supported by a charging station system that can reach electric vehicle users in general and besides that is also beneficial in the use of renewable energy. The problem in this research is to examine the use of renewable energy as a CS energy source. Ideally electric vehicles use renewable energy sources that are environmentally friendly. The purpose of this study is to examine the sustainability strategy of the Hybrid Charging station (HCS) using the Life Cycle Costing (LCC) method, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity, Threat). The research method uses a combined method. The results showed that on the economic aspect HCS was classified as efficient, then on the environmental aspect the photovoltaic component contributed the most to the impact. The HCS sustainability strategy needs to be supported by all stakeholders who play a role in the development of electric vehicles and their supporting infrastructure. The conclusion of the research is that the right HCS development strategy can reduce environmental impact, increase efficiency and facilitate the development of environmentally friendly charging stations."

"Menawarkan produk pangan dengan harga lebih murah mendekati tanggal kadaluarsa disebut sebagai produk pangan suboptimal dinilai dapat mendorong pertimbangan pembelian oleh masyarakat. Hal ini didasarkan pada pengetahuan tentang pembelian produk makanan yang dikurangi harga oleh masyarakat dan potensi sampah di masyarakat terfokus. Studi ini bertujuan untuk berkontribusi pada evaluasi apakah menawarkan makanan suboptimal dengan harga lebih rendah akan mengurangi limbah makanan dalam rantai pasokan. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap penawaran harga produk yang kurang optimal di toko eceran. Penelitian dilakukan di tiga toko eceran di Kota Depok dengan menggali pertanyaan penelitian yang melibatkan 274 pelanggan toko eceran yang dianalisis berdasarkan kuesioner. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis linier berganda menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku masyarakat mempengaruhi penawaran harga produk yang kurang optimal di toko eceran. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk mengatasi kelebihan pangan yang berujung pada food waste di tingkat eceran dalam pengelolaan pangan berkelanjutan.

Offering food products at lower prices approaching the expiration date, referred to as suboptimal food products, is considered to be able to encourage purchasing considerations by the public. It is based on knowledge of purchasing price-reduced food products by the public and the potential waste in the community focused. The study aims to contribute to the evaluation of whether offering suboptimal foods at a lower price will reduce food waste in the supply chain. This study analyzes public knowledge, attitudes, and behavior toward suboptimal product price offers in eceran stores. The research was conducted in three eceran stores in Depok City by exploring research questions involving 274 eceran store customers who were analyzed based on a questionnaire. The approach used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear analysis methods using SPSS software. The findings show that public knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors influence suboptimal product price offers in eceran stores. This research is expected to be an effective solution to overcome excess food, which leads to food waste at the eceran level in sustainable food management."

"Isu keberlanjutan (sustainability) menjadi kian populer seiring dengan gencarnya pemberitaan negatif terkait ketidakseimbangan alam, kerusakan lingkungan, dan ketidakadilan sosial. Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals) yang ditargetkan oleh PBB mendorong berbagai industri, termasuk industri fesyen, untuk bersama-sama menangani dampak negatif yang telah dihasilkan selama ini demi kesejahteraan dan keberlanjutan jangka panjang. Istilah fesyen berkelanjutan hadir sebagai remedi dari praktik fesyen dari para merek atau perusahaan yang kurang bertanggung jawab, seperti fast fashion—istilah yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan strategi dan tren dalam industri fesyen yang berlangsung dengan cepat dan efektif. Gen Z sebagai calon pemimpin dan penerus kehidupan mendatang memiliki perspektif yang krusial dan relevan untuk diteliti lebih dalam, ditambah dengan karakteristik gen Z yang dapat dikatakan berkaitan erat dengan fesyen dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif eksploratori melalui survei dalam bentuk kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam dengan partisipan kuesioner 110 orang, yang 11 diantaranya menjadi partisipan wawancara.
Temuan penelitian ini antara lain: (1) Partisipan penelitian yang berasal dari kelompok gen Z sudah menyadari adanya isu dalam industri fesyen terutama terkait sosial dan lingkungan, namun perspektif para partisipan gen Z sangat beragam dalam melihat fesyen berkelanjutan, saat ini masih belum merata tingkat pemahamannya, ada yang sudah kritis dalam memandang istilah tersebut namun ada juga yang belum mengerti atau peduli, (2) Praktik-praktik yang mencerminkan dukungan terhadap fesyen berkelanjutan mulai berkembang dan diterapkan oleh kelompok gen Z dalam penelitian ini dan lingkungan sekitar mereka, namun perilaku ini bukan seratus persen dilakukan karena kesadaran akan konsep fesyen berkelanjutan, terdapat berbagai faktor dan keterbatasan lain yang mendorong perilaku tersebut, (3) Merek fesyen cepat yang praktik dan klaim keberlanjutannya masih menjadi perdebatan (seperti H&M dan Zara) mengesankan bahwa mereka berkelanjutan karena tag atau label yang dicantumkan, namun dalam praktiknya, keberlanjutan tidak dapat dinilai dari klaim material yang di daur ulang atau ramah lingkungan saja , (4) Di mata para partisipan, keberlanjutan yang dilakukan oleh merek atau perusahaan di industri fesyen ini menjadi unique selling, sehingga bukan sepenuhnya dilakukan karena motif altruistik saja, dan (5) Partisipan yang berasal dari kelompok gen Z melihat bahwa perkembangan dan kemajuan keberlanjutan pada industri fesyen di Indonesia akan semakin berkembang dan diadopsi oleh konsumen dan berbagai merek atau perusahaan.
Kontribusi utama penelitian ini adalah menghadirkan apresiasi terhadap perpektif gen Z, dari sisi konsumen biasa, dan sebagai tambahan dari fashion insiders untuk memahami sudah sejauh mana pemahaman dan perkembangan fesyen berkelanjutan di Indonesia.

The issue of sustainability is gaining increasing popularity amid the incessant negative news regarding natural imbalances, environmental damage, and social injustice. The Sustainable Development Goals targeted by the United Nations encourage various industries, including the fashion industry, to collaborate in addressing the negative impacts that have been generated so far, with the aim of achieving long-term prosperity and sustainability. The term "sustainable fashion" exists as a remedy for the irresponsible practices of certain brands or companies, such as fast fashion—a term used to describe strategies and trends in the fashion industry that rapidly and effectively took place.
As the future successors and the next generation to lead, Gen Z holds crucial and relevant perspectives for further research, especially given their strong connection to fashion in their daily lives. This study used exploratory qualitative methods, conducting surveys in the form of questionnaires and in-depth interviews with 110 participants, of which 11 were interviewees.
The findings of this study are as follows: (1) The majority of Gen Z participants are aware of issues in the fashion industry, particularly related to social and environmental concerns. However, their perspectives on sustainable fashion are highly diverse. While some show critical understanding of the term, others do not comprehend or prioritize it, (2) Practices reflecting support for sustainable fashion have started to develop and be adopted by the Gen Z participants in this study and their surroundings. Nevertheless, their behavior is not consistently aligned with the concept of sustainable fashion, as various other factors and limitations influence their actions, (3) Fast fashion brands, such as H&M and Zara, are still subject to debates regarding their sustainability claims and practices. Despite including tags or labels indicating sustainability in their products, sustainability cannot solely be judged by claims of using recycled or environmentally friendly materials, (4) In the eyes of the participants, sustainability initiatives taken by brands or companies in the fashion industry are seen as unique selling points. This suggests that such actions are not solely driven by altruistic motives, (5) Participants from the Gen Z group anticipate further development and adoption of sustainability in the fashion industry in Indonesia, expecting it to be embraced by consumers and various brands or companies.
The main contribution of this research is to present an appreciation of the Gen Z perspective, both as ordinary consumers and as fashion insiders, in understanding the current level of comprehension and development of sustainable fashion in Indonesia.

"Transit Oriented Development (TOD) merupakan sebuah pola pembangunan tata kota yang terintegrasi dengan sistem transportasi sehingga menciptakan sebuah kota yang efisien. Konsep TOD memiliki sebuah tujuan yaitu untuk memberikan sebuah alternatif dan pemecahan masalah bagi pertumbuhan metropolitan yang cenderung memiliki pola pengembangan yang berorientasi. Konsep Kawasan TOD mengintegrasikan jaringan transit secara regional dan melengkapi strategi pengembangan lingkungan yang telah ada di sekitar simpul transit. TOD menggabungkan guna lahan residensial, perdagangan, jasa, perkantoran, ruang terbuka, dan ruang publik sehingga memudahkan masyarakat dan pengguna untuk melakukan perjalanan dengan berjalan kaki, sepeda, maupun moda transportasi umum. Kebutuhan akan lahan yang terus meningkat di kawasan kota menyebabkan kurangnya ketersedian hunian yang cukup dan semakin berkurangnya lahan hijau yang ada. Pada hasil perancangan ini menekankan kepada nilai keberlanjutan yang mana menghasilkan sebuah Green Village dari beberapa modul Co-Living yang bersifat modular, sehingga dapat mengurangi emisi karbon pada area tapak.

Transit Oriented Development (TOD) is a pattern of urban planning development that is integrated with the transportation system so as to create an efficient city. The TOD concept has a goal, namely to provide an alternative and problem solving for metropolitan growth which tends to have a development-oriented pattern. The TOD Region concept integrates the transit network regionally and complements the existing environmental development strategy around the transit nodes. TOD combines residential land uses, trade, services, offices, open spaces and public spaces to make it easier for the public and users to travel by foot, bicycle or other modes of public transportation. The need for land that continues to increase in urban areas causes a lack of adequate housing and the reduction of existing green land. The results of this design emphasize the value of sustainability which produces a Green Village from several Co-Living modules that are modular in nature, so as to reduce carbon emissions in the site area."

"Dalam merespon lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, proyek ini fokus pada konsep upcycling, yang mengedepankan penggunaan kembali bahan-bahan bekas dan limbah untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Upcycling Community Center didesain sebagai pusat yang mempromosikan praktik upcycling melalui workshop, galeri, dan ruang pameran. Material yang digunakan dalam konstruksi bangunan juga diperoleh dari limbah daur ulang, seperti kayu bekas, logam, dan kaca daur ulang. Selain itu, proyek ini menggunakan sumber energi terbarukan, seperti panel surya dan sistem pengumpulan air hujan untuk meminimalkan penggunaan energi dan sumber daya alam. Upcycling Community Center juga berfungsi sebagai pusat pendidikan dan kesadaran lingkungan. Dalam desainnya, proyek ini menyediakan ruang untuk kelas, seminar, dan lokakarya yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan dan upcycling. Komunitas lokal dapat mengakses dan memanfaatkan sumber daya dan pengetahuan yang ada di pusat ini untuk mengembangkan praktik berkelanjutan. Selain aspek lingkungan, proyek ini juga merespon konsep Transit Oriented Development (TOD), yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang berfokus pada transportasi berkelanjutan

In response to the sustainable environment, the project focuses on the concept of upcycling, which emphasizes the reuse of used and waste materials to reduce environmental impact. The Upcycling Community Center is designed as a center that promotes upcycling practices through workshops, galleries, and exhibition spaces. The materials used in the construction of the building were also obtained from recycled waste, such as scrap wood, metal, and recycled glass. In addition, the project uses renewable energy sources, such as solar panels and rainwater collection systems to minimize the use of energy and natural resources. Upcycling Community Center also serves as a center for environmental education and awareness. In its design, the project provides spaces for classes, seminars, and workshops related to the environment and upcycling. Local communities can access and utilize the resources and knowledge available at the center to develop sustainable practices. In addition to the environmental aspect, the project also responds to the concept of Transit Oriented Development (TOD), which aims to create an environment that focuses on sustainable transportation."

"In the past decade, a small but growing body of research has drawn attention to the environmental concerns of rising greenhouse gas emissions associated with the consumption and production of food; this is an issue of increasing importance in Southeast Asia where rapid population growth is leading to year-on-year increases in food demand. To date, countries in Southeast Asia have shown little interest in addressing greenhouse gas emissions across the whole life cycle of food—production, processing, transportation, retailing, consumption, and final disposal—despite a growing awareness of climate change andits effects. This paper serves as a starting point to explore the relatively under-researched topic of greenhouse gas emission trends and the production and consumption of food in Southeast Asia, with particular focus on the Malaysian food sector. Previous research documenting greenhouse gas emissions from specific food products and components in the food supply chain has been used to determine the likely greenhouse gas ‘hotspots’ in Malaysia. The paper concludes by recommending the development of an overarching framework for Sustainable Food Systems in Malaysia and identifies specific areas of research to support this framework."
