"Puskesmas Bandaraya telah menerapkan pendidikan kesehatan kepada keluarga dengan anggota keluarga toddler, namun masih ditemukan adanya cara yang belum optimal dalam stimulasi perkembangan toddler oleh orang tua dan keluarga. Keluarga memiliki peranan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan guna merangsang potensi yang dimiliki anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara karakteristik keluarga, pendidikan kesehatan dengan kemampuan keluarga dalam memberikan stimulasi perkembangan toddler di Kecamatan Bandaraya Kota Banda Aceh. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional, sampel pada penelitian ini adalah keluarga dengan anak toddler sebanyak 106 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan pemahaman pendidikan kesehatan dengan kemampuan kognitif keluarga secara bemakna dan perkembangan toddler. Karakteristik keluarga menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat dengan kemampuan kognitif keluarga (OR =2,188). Kemampuan keluarga perlu ditingkatkan agar stimulasi perkembangan toddler dapat optimal.

Bandaraya clinic have done health education to families with family toddler, but still found a way that is not optimal in the stimulation of the development of toddler by parents and families. Families have an important role in creating an environment to stimulate their child's potential. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family characteristics, health education to the family's ability to provide developmental stimulation in the district Bandaraya Kota Banda Aceh. The study design was cross-sectional, the sample in this study is a family with toddler son as many as 106 people. Data were analyzed using chisquare test and multiple logistic regression. The results showed association with cognitive health education family p value <0.05, there is a connection with the development of health education toddler, p value <0.05. Family characteristics showed a strong relationship with the cognitive ability of the family (OR = 2.188). Family ability must be upgrade for to lead optimalize toddler development."

The final activity in this research is assesing the validity and reliability of the obtained feature, by making comparation to the commercial software functions."
